Summary
We are seeking a detail-orientedand adaptable Accounting Operations Specialist to support day-to-day accountingfunctions across multiple departments. This role will serve as the primary leadfor Accounts Payable while providing cross-functional support for AccountsReceivable and Payroll as needed.
General Responsibilities:
- Adaptable Support: Provide on-site assistance to all accounting departments during staff shortages, month-end closes, or special projects with a primary focus on accounts payable.
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, code invoices, and prepare check runs / ACH payments and managing employee expense reports.
- Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices, post customer payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- General Ledger & Data Entry: Accurately enter data into accounting system and maintain organized digital/physical files.
- Payroll & HR Support: Assist with processing payroll, verifying timesheets, and answering employment verifications.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies, procedures, and GAAP standards.
- Problem Resolution: Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data efficiently.
- All other duties: as assigned by Leadership
Position Requirements
· Standard work week: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to5:00pm
· May need to work weekends if business needsrequire
· Regular attendance is a necessary and essentialfunction
· Position requires extended hours when businessneed requires.
Physical & Cognitive Requirements
· Ableto lift up to 20lbs. occasionally
· Mustbe able to traverse in all weather conditions and work in extreme temperatures
· Positionrequires the ability to stand, squat, & reach
· Mustbe able to stand and walk continuously through shift
· Activitieslike typing and using a computer mouse can involve repetitive motions
· Crouch,kneel, bend, or stand for long periods of time
· Mustbe able to sit at a desk for 8 plus hours per day
Skills and Qualifications
· Highschool diploma required; bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Businesspreferred.
· 1-3years of proven accounting/bookkeeping experience (AP/AR experience preferred).Construction experience a plus.
· Proficiencywith accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or similar ERP).
· Abilityto thrive in multi-department role, learning new procedures quickly andadapting to technological changes.
· Highattention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
· Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
· Stronginterpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
Commensurate withexperience, paid weekly. The Company reserves the right to adjust rangesdepending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
