Summary

The Craft Recruiter will beresponsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, source,and hire skilled craft professionals across multiple industrial and electricaldisciplines. This role requires strong relationship-building and organizationalskills to manage high-volume, fast-paced hiring needs while maintaining apositive candidate experience. The Craft Recruiter will work closely withoperations leaders, project managers, and HR to understand manpower forecasts,develop creative sourcing strategies, and build a steady pipeline of qualifiedelectricians, technicians, and field leaders to support ongoing and futureprojects.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·        Recruitment Strategy & Planning: Partnerwith hiring managers to define job requirements, candidate profiles, andsourcing strategies. Proactively forecast staffing needs and develop talentpipelines for future openings.

·        Craft Recruiting Specific: Recruitexperienced testing professionals, especially those with NETA/NICETcertifications or strong industrial electrical backgrounds. Build and maintainrelationships with skilled craft professionals and understand what motivatesthem (pay, perks, projects, reputation, etc.).

·        Candidate Sourcing: Use creative sourcingmethods like networking, competitor research, trade schools, military programs,referrals, job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking events, anddatabases to attract qualified candidates

·        Screening & Interviewing: Reviewresumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interview processes. Evaluatecandidates for cultural fit and qualifications.

·        Candidate Experience Management: Ensure asmooth and positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.Maintain timely communication and professional interactions.

·        Team Communication: Communicate regularlywith hiring managers regarding candidate status, market feedback, and searchprogress. Provide guidance on hiring decisions.

·        ATS & Documentation Management: Maintainaccurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System(ATS). Ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures.

·        Offer Management: Present job offers, negotiatecompensation when appropriate, and facilitate the offer acceptance andonboarding process.

·        Employer Branding: Support employer brandinitiatives by promoting company culture, attending career fairs, and engagingin social media recruitment marketing.

·        Process Improvement: Continuouslyevaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidatequality, and hiring outcomes.

·        Full Cycle: Manage the full recruitmentprocess from first contact to offer and onboarding.

Position Requirements

·        Position may require extended hours based onhiring demand or peak seasons

·        Occasional attendance at after-hours recruitingevents or job fairs may be necessary

·        Regular attendance is a necessary and essentialfunction

 

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

·        Mustbe able to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods

·        Frequentuse of computer and phone; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

·        Mustbe able to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. (recruiting materials, laptops,etc.)

·        Travelto local hiring events, schools, or job fairs as needed

·        Abilityto handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

·        Mustbe able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  Skills and Qualifications

·        Minimum3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (agency or in-house)

·        Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered

·        Prior experience recruiting in power, andelectrical power, electrical construction.

·        Familiar with NETA/NICET certifications and thetypes of skills and backgrounds that align with them.

·        Proven success sourcing hard-to-find crafttalent using creative methods.

·        Handle rejection (common with this talent pool)and counteroffers with persistence (and professionalism).

·        Experience working with ATS and recruitmenttools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)

·        Must be able to pass a Drug Test, Backgroundscreen and MVR

·        Provenability to source, attract, and close top talent

·        Abilityto build strong relationships with candidates and internal team

·        Abilityto manage multiple open roles simultaneously

·        Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment technology platforms

·        Analyticalskills to track and evaluate recruitment metrics

·         Ability to maintain professionalism andconfidentiality at all times

·        Knowledgeof diversity hiring practices and inclusive recruitment strategies

 

Compensation & Benefits

Commensurate withexperience, paid weekly. The Company reserves the right to adjust rangesdepending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
