Summary
The Procurement Operations Manager plays a pivotal role indriving purchasing strategies that directly impact project success,profitability, and operational efficiency. This role oversees procurementoperations for materials, equipment, fleet, and facilities—bringing structure,foresight, and value to every transaction and vendor relationship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Procurement Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a company-widepurchasing strategy aligned with long-term business goals. Identify cost-savingopportunities and create purchasing processes that add value acrossdepartments.
· Vendor Management: Build and maintainstrong vendor partnerships to negotiate competitive pricing, favorablecontracts, and agreements that mitigate risk and maximize ROI. Evaluatesupplier performance, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and contractcompliance.
· Lease and Fleet Management: Manage alllease agreements for vehicles, equipment, and facilities; collaborate closelywith operations and finance teams to assess returns and optimize terms.
· Stakeholder Support and Collaboration: Guideleaders across the business on purchasing strategies and procurement bestpractices. Facilitate effective communication between departments, vendors, andstakeholders to support operational needs.
· Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitorprocurement KPIs, including cost savings and supplier performance. Analyzeprocurement data to inform continuous improvement efforts and strategicdecisions.

Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’sdegree in supply chain, Business, or a related field — or equivalent years ofpurchasing/procurement experience.
· 5+years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chainoperations.
· Strongnegotiation skills with a demonstrated track record of cost savings andsupplier performance improvements.
· Experiencemanaging lease agreements and working with fleet, facilities, and financefunctions.
· Proficiencywith ERP or procurement systems.
· Strongcommunication and relationship-building skills across all levels of theorganization.
· Proactive,solutions-focused mindset with the ability to develop processes where noneexist.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
· Strongknowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
· Provenexperience in managing electrical construction projects.
· Excellentproject management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
· Abilityto read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
· Proficientin project management software and tools.
· Strongleadership and team management abilities.
· Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
· Analyticaland problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
· Abilityto multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
· Knowledgeof procurement and subcontractor management.
· Understandingconstruction industry regulations and best practices.
