Summary
The Senior Project Manager primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. Your role will involve leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and risk assessments.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of project managers, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure project success. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Project Execution and Control: Oversee all aspects of project execution, including procurement, subcontractor management, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety. Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and track project costs. Review and approve project expenditures, change orders, and invoices. Implement cost control measures to optimize project profitability.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of project milestones and deliverables. Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and implement strategies to mitigate schedule risks.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and coordinate with inspectors to ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical installations.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Implement effective risk management practices to minimize project risks and maximize project success.
- Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. Ensure contract compliance, resolve contractual disputes, and manage contract documentation.
- Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvement: Conduct project reviews and analysis to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Implement process enhancements, best practices, and lessons learned from previous projects to optimize project performance.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by leadership.
Position Requirements
- Position requires extended hours, which will vary depending on job and site requirements. Each job will require their own specific hours of operation.
- May need to work weekends if business needs require

Physical & Cognitive Requirements
- Able to lift up to 20lbs. regularly
- Must be able to traverse in all weather conditions and work in extreme temperatures
- Position requires the ability to stand, squat, & reach
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously through shift
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to exercise precaution in the handling of tools and equipment
- May be exposed to dust, fumes, and odoriferous working conditions
- Crouch, kneel, bend, or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to sit at a desk for 8 plus hours per day
- Be subject to motor or machine noise

Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of electrical construction estimating experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test, Background screen and MVR
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Proven experience in managing electrical construction projects.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. The Company reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
