Summary
The Warehouse Manager plays a pivotal role in the efficientfunctioning of a warehouse, ensuring seamless operations and optimalutilization of resources. This key professional is responsible for overseeingthe day-to-day activities within the warehouse, from managing inventory andcoordinating shipments to supervising a team of dedicated warehouse staff.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Inventory Control: Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices. Conduct regular audits to track and reconcile inventory levels. Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize stock levels.
- Forklift Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials. Ensure compliance with safety standards during forklift operations.
- Technology Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office applications for inventory tracking, data analysis, and reporting. Adapt to and implement new technologies that enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment. Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse personnel.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by leadership
Position Requirements
· May need to work weekends if business needs require
· Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function
Physical & Cognitive Requirements
· Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb,kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead
· Lift 75 pounds
· Constantly moving on your feet for 8+ hours perday
· Climb ladders (all types)
· Completing overhead work for full dayassignments
· Must be able to make transition from employeeparking area into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels ofthe building, even if the only means of access is by O.S.H.A. approved siteconstruction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use
· Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
· Positively identify colors of wires.
Skills and Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager orsimilar role.
· Ability to operate a forklift with precision andsafety.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications,especially Excel and inventory management systems.
· Successful completion of a drug screening.
· Clean driving record.
Knowledge /Skills / Abilities
· Computer skills to navigate inventory managementsystems or other software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Compensation& Benefits
Commensurate withexperience, paid weekly. The Company reserves the right to adjust rangesdepending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
